Our next classes start on 21st May and last for 6 weeks.
Have you the well-socialised well-behaved dog that you wanted and just want some help with training, or do you have a "reactive" dog or a problem dog that doesn't listen to you, a dog with "issues"?
If you think you have a problem dog at the end of your lead then stop and think - perhaps your dog has a problem person on the end of its lead - someone who is not sending the right signals to the dog, someone who is not communicating to the dog what is wanted.
This is where dog training classes come in - to help with the communication - we help you to train your dog, to get the well-socialised well-behaved dog that you wanted.

Our next classes are bookable below ...
Please note the following terms & conditions ...
A booking is for one adult and one dog; a course is 6 weeks; a class will have a trainer and no more than 12 participants; (with few exceptions) we cannot accommodate spectators. There can be no refunds once a course has started.
Be sure to choose the appropriate link below (& browse the other pages on this site for more details.)
Once a class is full (12 places) the link will no longer accept a booking.
NOTE ... the young puppy class below has been cancelled - insufficient numbers (that's a first!)
1. Young Puppy Class (£50) - CANCELLED - This class is for young dogs aged under 6 months at the start of the course and is held at 7.00 - 7.45pm each Wednesday for 6 weeks. It covers the fundamentals - socialisation with other dogs and humans, basic obedience - being a socially acceptable canine.
( If you are dithering about the value of puppy classes then see the following article from Psychology Today (Oct.2024) https://www.psychologytoday.com/gb/blog/canine-corner/202410/do-puppy-classes-have-a-lasting-effect-on-dog-behavior )
2. Competition Obedience Class (£60) - This class is for dogs that can prove that they have passed the Kennel Club (Good Citizen) Bronze award. It has two components and when you book you may attend either one or both sessions as you desire. The single booking covers both sessions.
Session 1 (8pm): Competition Heelwork. The course is designed to give you and your dog a fun and accessible introduction to the skills and exercises needed for competitive obedience at pre-beginners and beginners level.
Session 2 (9pm): Rally Obedience. Rally offers a new take on competitive obedience in which you and your dog heel through a timed course of stations and perform specific obedience exercises indicated on signs that direct a dog and handler team to turn left or right, and guide them through moves like sit and down, stay, come, fast or slow, and heeling exercises.
